19th Century Farmhouse

In these rooms, the inspiration for the wall colors came from the antique Persian rug that evokes the Old World character of the living room. You enter the room through the center hall where the contrasting wall colors create a perfect backdrop for the elegant French and English antiques.  A classic Provence chest displays several Chinese artifacts alongside an elegant Louis XV chair covered in original needlepoint.  In the foreground, the large iron coffee table in front of the slipcovered sofa, is an old English gate from a country estate in the Cotswolds that was customized with a base and glass top.  In the foyer, Hitchcock chairs and hunting prints complete the theme for this charming country house.
