Safari Room

 This small room serves as a quiet sitting area for reading, meditating or a quick nap.  The 19th C. iron day bed was found in a Paris flea market.  A fabulous faux zebra skin rug gives warmth and a touch of the exotic along with the beautiful framed print depicting the Rajasthan region of India.  A lovely mix of elegant pillows made from vintage silk scarves and Fortuny fabric and favorite books on the papier-mache tray table complete this room made for dreaming of far away lands.
